More about Scheme There are 389 districts in the country where the number of pending cases under POCSO Act exceeds 100. Under the recent scheme each of these districts will have one exclusive POCSO court (FTSC) which will be set up for one year. Financing of the Scheme will be on the pattern of Centrally Sponsored Schemes 60% of the share is contributed by Central Government and 40% by State & UT governments. To bring out more stringent provisions and expeditious trial and disposal of Rape and POSCO Act cases India enacted the Criminal Law (Amendment) Act 2018. o Hence to assist the implementation of the 2018 act a key intervention is setting up specific courts for time bound disposal of Rape and POCSO Act cases.
